Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel lost their lives, in a road accident, when their vehicle fe
ll in a deep ravine near the Anzari Checkpoint of Landi Kotal on Monday. Security officials confirmed the incident and said, FC personnel Hawaldar Banaras and Lance Naik Amir Jan we
re travelling in an official vehicle, when it met with an accident while negoti
ating a sharp
turn near Enzari checkpost, killing both of them on the spot.
Soon after the accident, FC personnel ru
shed to the site to recover the bodies and later shifted it to the forces health center in Landi Kotal for medico-legal formalities.
Later, the corpses of the deceased we
re transported to their native Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts for burial.
